Are you passionate about working in a dynamic school setting where you can make a positive impact? Our client is hiring an Accountant on a 12-month FTC to assist them with accounting tasks.
Your new role
Your role requires you to support the Business Manager within the College's Finance Department with day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities: The role primarily comprises the following duties:

• Accounts payable
• Monitoring of expenses and GL coding
• Reconciliation of College credit cards
• Management of the fixed asset register
• Month-end reconciliations
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS Statements
• Billing support

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally, you have worked in a school environment and are committed to the ethos of a Maronite Catholic School and hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in the XERO accounting platform
• Highly organised and detail-focused
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work autonomously but also as part of a team
• Willing to learn new skills
