Position Overview The Deputy Finance Director will play a key role in executing the campaign’s fundraising program. Working closely with the candidate, senior staff, and finance consultant, the Deputy Finance Director will manage day-to-day finance operations, donor outreach, and event execution to help meet ambitious fundraising goals. This is a full-time position through the duration of the campaign.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of the overall finance plan, including call time, events, and PAC outreach.
Manage candidate call time, including preparing call sheets, tracking pledges, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Support the execution of fundraising events—from logistics and invitations to post-event follow-up
Oversee donor research and database management (Experience with NGP, or similar, preferred).
Draft donor communications, including emails, call time scripts, and thank-you notes.
Track daily and weekly fundraising metrics and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements
Campaign finance or related experience (federal, statewide, or competitive local).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with NGP or similar fundraising databases strongly preferred.
Comfort making donor calls and building relationships with supporters.
Commitment to progressive values and electing leaders who will fight for working people.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
